EXPERIENCED, CAREER-FOCUSED FACULTY
Unlike programs at other schools, the Johnson & Wales one-year MBA program features faculty who are dedicated to teaching and teaching-related scholarship, not research. Many are still active members of the business community, allowing them to bring experience directly into the classroom. Our class sizes are small and are never taught by teaching assistants, giving students the opportunity to develop relationships and share learning experiences with faculty and peers.
EMPLOYER-INFORMED CURRICULUM
Johnson & Wales MBA curriculum is developed through a collaborative effort between leading employers and our industry-experienced instructors. Our faculty members bring real-world projects and challenges into the classroom to turn theory into practice. This active-learning philosophy ensures that students are keeping up with the latest industry insights while learning the skills employers are looking for.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Students in this MBA program will take courses like:

This one-year program is identical to the traditional MBA program except that all courses are offered in an 8-week hybrid model and students complete four courses per semester, including the summer term.
NO GMAT REQUIREMENTS FOR SELECT STUDENTS
If you have a GPA of 2.85 or higher, you are not required to take the GMAT. The minimum GPA required for Official Acceptance is 2.85.
